Bought these microfleece sheets instead of cotton flannel for cold winter nights. The price is great, as is the quality. Thickest fleece sheets we've tried, good stretch for a fitted sheet. We can confirm the high quality, fabric thickness and softness because we bought some double fleece sheets from another supplier and they weren't that thick! Unfortunately they are synthetic and just get too hot for me and my husband at night. We kept the pillowcases because they are amazingly soft to sleep on. And I turned the top sheet into a comforter over a new set of 100% cotton flannel sheets from Lands End. It turned out to be a fantastic ceiling; very warm and as good as any fleece blanket you can find. I trimmed a sheet to make a duvet for a double bed. S is not lost and good value for money. Cover! I am a thin woman who is always cold and sweats little. But I also know that sheets made from synthetic fibers (polyester, rayon, bamboo, etc.) don't breathe. After reading the rave reviews, I found that the lack of breathability issue with synthetic sheets had been solved - ie. A new way of weaving has emerged that helps them breathe. Absolutely not. Not for me or my 200 lb husband. We were both sweating, having nightmares and overheating underneath even after we removed all the extra blankets. I went back to the best flannels you can find - Lands End, Company Store and LL Bean - 5oz (or 6oz) 100% Cotton Portuguese Flannel Sheets. I bought a set, used a Revain microfleece sheet as a comforter over a cotton flannel and we slept absolutely comfortably. No sweat, just soft, warm comfort! Clean, clean, these sheets are of great value to us as blankets.
