Diapers are cool but the pads are not. We use them like AI2 instead of a pocket diaper. We were concerned that the soft shell inner lining would retain moisture and we wouldn't be able to use the same material for multiple shells, but it doesn't retain moisture and works great! I am also very impressed with the fit - these diapers fit my son better than Best Bottoms or Flip. I only have 2 complaints: 1) the included ear tips (they don't absorb moisture and aren't very soft) - this was disappointing because the ear tips we use and love are also Alvababy (charcoal with inserts). 2) They are really hard to get rid of feces and white spots. That can make a big difference for me because I'm used to better bottom or flip bowls that just wipe clean and we use charcoal inserts so they're not as noticeable. We'll definitely be bleaching them in the sun this summer to keep them looking good.
