not very strong. The starting age of 1 year is too young. Babies need to be stable walkers and know not to pull. I gave it to my kids for their 1st birthday but they tried to pull themselves up with it standing and it just fell over with them; it was quickly removed. When they were still walking they pulled him back but since they are babies (<2) and not good at sports they played with him and after knocking him out a couple of times he collapsed. It would be good for older children, but its starting age of 12 months is too young. Also, the coconut bowling ball is very hard plastic and was quickly removed as it was a very powerful projectile.
