
UPDATED REVIEW Original Post : We compared many replacement pads before deciding on this one. I am very happy that we have a four-sided carpet. Once our baby started moving, it helped keep him from falling off the changing table and banging his head on the dresser. The pad is very comfortable and fits most changing mats. It can be washed very well and, despite numerous "incidents", is still perfect a year after purchase. . Some changing mats have a third wall on one side, but that won't work for us as we'll bump into the little guy in different directions while changing. UPDATED REVIEW: The only downside is that it tends to be a bit shorter than other changing pads due to the raised ends. That being said, none of my boys are tall, so my 2.5-year-old can still sit relatively well. The rug has held up to cleaning and use over the years which is a definite plus. I suggest putting a non-slip pad underneath if it's prone to slipping. I'm very glad we did.
