We have these communication kits for driving and talking. They work over a long range, somewhat limited to around 1/4 mile, plus we use it as Bluetooth and our phones to communicate. You can easily listen to MP3 or FM while driving. The sound quality matches the price. For us it's perfect! and the battery life is excellent. We easily get 6-8 hours of continuous talk time.
