If you've bought an 8 inch tablet because it's smaller and lighter than a 10 inch tablet, you should know that this case gives you that advantage to a large extent will take. The case weighs about half a kilogram. The weight of my Samsung Galaxy Tab A T290 has increased from 12.5 ounces to around 1 lb 5 oz. And that added about an inch to the height and width. But this case is clearly durable. It is safe to withstand bumps and bumps. It fits the device exactly. Installation is a bit fiddly. The kit includes instructions and a plastic tool to disassemble the case. The set also includes a microfiber cloth. It comes with two bezels - with and without an integrated screen protector. My experience with built-in screen protectors shows that these hand touches don't transfer very well and condensation can collect underneath them. So I decided not to use it. I opted for the front bezel without a screen protector and used a self-adhesive matte screen protector instead. It's also difficult to attach or remove a longer strap (which can be changed to a shoulder strap with just a few clicks). You must first partially install the rubber pad, then the wrist strap parts, and then the device. You have to scratch your head a little to understand this. In the end, I decided to ditch the longer wrist strap and just use the finger strap that comes preinstalled down the middle of my back. The luggage stand still works well with the strap attached. If you want your tablet to be really durable or just look like it, this is a good choice.
