You get what you pay for. Wrist braces are not very comfortable and I only wear them at night. The Velcro is designed so that there is only a tiny tab where the straps attach, so the extra length of the strap just sticks out and doesn't stay flush with the brace. The pieces of metal that are supposed to keep my wrist straight just slip into pockets at the bottom of the braces, so sometimes they stick out and I have to tuck them back in. You are not fixed. I only bought them for the pregnancy carpel tunnel so I'm hoping I won't need them again after giving birth. If you're looking for something for long-term use or not just for sleeping, I'd recommend spending the extra money on a better pair.
