Review on NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Wonder Medium by Sharon Weaver

I'm torn. When I first saw this on Revain, I was excited. With the exception of eyeshadow, I'm not a big fan of glitter makeup. It's not glitter! So I decided to go ahead and buy four sticks. I love Nyx Makeup so what could go wrong? They arrived very quickly and were well packaged. I opened all four for immediate inspection and selected one for use that same day. First I tried a darker shade for the outline. Very easy to control, very rich and creamy. The contour side fits perfectly and blends perfectly with the rest of the makeup. Below are the highlights. I flip the wand and start in the middle of the nose. I immediately noticed that something was wrong. The stick gets foundation and corrective shade! Now instead of a highlight I have red spots on my nose! MY GOD! What now? I try to erase the light side (base and correction colors) and try on the forehead but now it's happening again! Pooh! I try drying it off with a paper towel, but I put more product on the paper towel than on my face! Another oddity is that he looks fat. Almost like the backlight side is a sticky, greasy stick of butter. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong with this wand. I am totally in love with the contour side. Serious. It is very easy to use and I would recommend this product if it wasn't for the highlight. It's not a waste of money but I didn't buy it because only one side works and the other doesn't. I hope to be able to return the remaining three within the return period. I guess we'll see how time will tell. Hope you have better luck than me.
