I bought this for an upcoming trip to Tahiti. I wanted something that is very absorbent, quick drying and pretty. It meets all requirements. It really dries you out and it dries pretty quickly. Don't get me wrong - I love my regular towels, but if you're looking for something lightweight and quick-drying, you definitely need this towel. The little drawstring pouch is also a nice touch. I like it because it's so light and takes up a lot less space than a traditional towel. Having returned from a trip I can easily say that this was one of the best things I have bought. It was necessary. I've taken it on a couple of tours. It was also great to hug my shoulders while touring the Papenoo Valley due to the low temperatures. How about a glass bottom boat with snorkeling stops? Perfect, nice and dry for the next stop. I liked not having to carry around a damp, smelly towel with a wet towel. And this is the truth. It doesn't absorb sand like a normal towel. Great if you don't want to bring the beach home in your bag or car! I used it as a shower towel/hair dryer towel and was just as happy. I will ENTIRELY use this towel on other trips!
