Sleepless nights and marital quarrels are over

Yes, you are not wrong. Khabs and I had our first duvet in 5 1/2 years, constantly fighting over the duvet and one of us inevitably ended up half covered and exposed to cold drafts all night. We bought this baby and all our problems are solved. Well, admittedly, part of this is about buying a king-size duvet for a king-size bed, but I'm constantly looking for a duvet that's at least 75% down that's also hypoallergenic, and king-size beds are pretty expensive. It was a great thing! I'm so glad we bought it. My biggest fear was that it wouldn't be as high quality as what we bought in the store. The only problem now is that I don't have as many excuses to snuggle up as I used to. Other reviewers have noted that I think it's important to note the following: 1) Noise The outer fabric is wrinkled and somewhat stiff. This is normal for all duvets. The outer shell must be made of a very dense fabric to keep the tiny feathers from breaking through and causing sneezing fits. While this attribute does mean that the fabric will wrinkle, but no more than other duvets. 2) Smelly While I certainly didn't think there were lazy ducks in the duvet, it smells like "new duvet". wash it Now it smells like your favorite detergent. 3) Thin Yes, it's thinner than it looks in the picture, but not like a cheap comforter with no filling. In my opinion, this is one of the best aspects of duvets. They are warm and light. But they are pretty fluffy. If you doubt this blanket, go to the warm side.
