My daughter wears a size 4. Based on the range of 2-6x for these tights I figured they were just the right size and had room to grow. But these tights are big enough to be worn by 8-9 year olds. The unpacked pantyhose is almost as big as she is. The "rising" part of the tights (the part that isn't the legs) is about three times as long as it should be. My daughter can easily pull them up to her armpits and they are not small. We can't even wear these tights with the waistband turned up, because the leg itself is too bulky and immediately sags. In short, they are very big. Also, these tights don't have a cotton crotch, in case that matters to you. I have other great tights from Country Kids. But these tights are just weird.
