Review on Xbox 360 Slim Power Supply - Auto Voltage AC Adapter Cord for Xbox 360 Slim (Black) by Bryan Orozco

Our original power supply eventually flipped and died. There was nothing wrong with this gaming system, so we didn't feel like spending a lot of money and replacing it with a current-gen machine. We plugged it in and immediately started playing again. I left the system running for 48 hours without turning it off just to test this power supply. No problem. As some other reviewers have written, this power supply makes more noise than the original. This noise is caused by an internal fan that helps keep the PSU cool. I don't understand how this noise can bother someone. When the XBox is turned off, the power supply turns off and of course makes no noise. When the system is on, no matter what game is being played, it muffles the noise generated by the fan. So bottom line, fan noise isn't a problem in my opinion. I would buy this power supply again if needed.
