If you are using a VAVA monitor and 1 camera is already connected to the monitor, you need to DISCONNECT camera 1, PAIR THIS CAMERA AS CAMERA 2, then you can Plug them Camera 1 back into the wall and you have paired both cameras. They don't run on batteries, so you'll have to keep them plugged in at all times if you want to see what's going on. I am very happy and satisfied with the quality of the camera and the night vision. You can't split the screen on my VAVA monitor, but it has an option to switch between camera 1 and camera 2 every 5-8 seconds.
