Review on Rockadia Trail Running Heather Men's Shoes by Adidas by Enoch Sahay

Appearances can be deceiving - I feel uncomfortable

I ordered this product because I bought the same adidas shoes from an outdoor sports store a few years ago and loved them. I love the look and feel of my previous pair. Also, I have had adidas shoes for many years and I find them really unique and great shoes. I'm planning a long trip and wanted something eclectic because I travel minimally. I need comfortable shoes to wear around town and for day hikes. These shoes looked perfect. When my shoes arrived I was very excited but when I opened the box they looked different to my previous pair of Adidas shoes I had. The quality seemed a little lacking. but I was like, 'OK, this is Adidas - they look good, try them for a few days to see how they feel. I tried them on and they seemed normal to me and then I wore them for a whole day - normal everyday clothes - just to see how they would feel when I went on a trip. They initially felt a bit different as if the cushioning wasn't the usual comfort and support of the Adidas shoes I had. Tread quality didn't have that much grip (a bit slippery) but the front end was ok. After wearing them for 3-4 hours I started having this constant hard feeling of the boot rubbing which turned into a very sharp pain on the inside of my left foot from the inner frame of the boot (the hard part, it is in the construction of the boot). The lining around the boot did not provide adequate cushioning to the frame of the boot. I was very sad because it hurt a lot. I kicked the shoe off the hard part in pain and the pain stayed like an internal bruise on the hard part and I thought I had a blister but I didn't. Finally, after an hour, the pain subsided. I realized that this shoe is nothing like the adidas shoes that I have loved and worn so much for years. I can say that these are not the shoes I want to wear on my long journey. I suppose if it hurts like that after a few hours, what happens after a few days or a few weeks of hiking in different countries? I love Adidas but this particular pair of shoes is not comfortable at all and the tread feels a bit slippery. Unfortunately I think I'll have to return them for something else. That's rather disappointing. Really sucks because I love the rugged look of these shoes😞
