Night glow function is no longer blue light

I had an older version of the same watch with blue night light. It was great but the blue lightbulb was blown and I couldn't figure out how to replace it. This newer version has a yellow glow, but it's not as bright and the clock is difficult to read at night. I suspect they changed color for health reasons - the blue light is meant to disturb sleep. The alarm on/off button is recessed, making it more difficult to find the switch to turn off the alarm when it rings.
