Very comfortable and very convenient

I've long suspected that shoulder harness systems were a gimmick and couldn't bring myself to invest in them. But I'm tired of fumbling around with a choker, a hand tie, or just plain strapless. After spending money to order, I realized I wouldn't make it in time for a trip that involved a lot of walking and moving. So I quickly assembled a homemade thing using an eyebolt in a tripod mount, a quick release ring, a split ring, and a regular camera lanyard. This showed me that the shoulder strap idea works very well. The DSLR with the flash on it was much more stable upside down as I took the weight off my neck and arms. Walking at a brisk pace to hurry, I didn't notice any jumps or camera shake. That was great. But all this with a DIY strap. When I come back I find the C-SLR strap waiting for me and put it on. If you just try it at home, it will be much more convenient and easy to use. The padded shoulder strap is VERY comfortable and distributes the weight over the shoulder much better than a regular strap. The camera slides up and down the strap very easily without twisting or pinching. When the C-Loop is attached to the B2-FABN Miniclip, it turns on instantly and turns off instantly when I need it. I've seen other reviews claiming the device feels weak. True, the strap seems flimsy and the links are plastic, but not fragile. They easily support the weight and are easy to fold and pack in your camera bag. The plastic links are not very different from the detachable plastic buckles found on all types of neck straps, camera bags, etc. Using a homemade strap and then the C-SLR system makes it easier for me to see the real benefits. Designed product to offer: Padded shoulder strap that distributes weight Pivoting mount on camera for more flexibility Sliding strap up and down Clamps to limit camera movement along strap Reduced tendency to kink Separate shoulder strap and sliding strap for easy storage in a camera bag Looking back, the DIY tape has taught me to appreciate it more. I'm glad I bought it and look forward to my next trip to use it.
