My 12 year old cat became less and less active to the point where she couldn't even jump on the couch. He is a shy boy and tends to hide when he is not well. I put high perches all over the house and arranged the furniture so he could always jump on it, which gave him a sense of security. But when he couldn't walk, let alone jump, it got to the point where he hid under the bed the whole time. The vet diagnosed him with arthritis and prescribed Kosekin, but there was no improvement. It was heartbreaking to see my once perky cat hiding all the time, afraid she wouldn't be able to retreat to her safe place under the bed or on high perches right away. I risked Technyflex and what a difference! About 10 days later (after the first week of the loading dose) he became a different cat. At first he just hopped on the couch and into bed, but after a few months of taking it he became pretty much the same again. Rising back to his high seats as before, he becomes playful and perky again. I can tell he's in a lot less pain because he's standing on his hind legs to grab my chair whereas before Technyflex he couldn't even walk without staggering. I put capsules in his canned food, he doesn't seem to mind the taste at all, and he's very picky (and can't take pills) so it should taste fine. If you have an arthritic cat this is definitely worth trying. It has made such a difference for my cat that I hope there will be something similar for people with arthritis when I'm older! Definitely worth seeing my furry boy frolic and frolic again.
