These work very well if you are looking for an alternative to the adhesive patch! Also are much more affordable than framehuggers. They are pretty thin, and feel like paper fabric. However, they are completely opaque and work well. After three months of use, my 3 year old daughter had improvement in her amblyopia at her eye check up - so I know they work! We will likely continue to use these for a couple years. This patch does start to fray after a few weeks of use however, and the frayed edges did start to irritate my daughter. So we would end up throwing them away and using a new one about every 4 weeks. This is not too much of an issue though since they are affordable at about $8 for 6. if your child does not like patching, or is a little more rambunctious - I would not use these because the child can easily slide them off to the side. Luckily, my child is very good about not touching it until we tell her she can remove it.
