I think the best thing about this product is the beautiful packaging and lip balm containers. Everything looks nice but not very functional so I won't buy it again. The biggest problem is that the wax mixture dries very quickly within minutes. I have no idea why they said 2 hours for education. It formed in the bowl as I had to rush to pour it out. I even snatched something off the stove and threw it in one of my daughter's bins. Other than that, following the directions didn't really work for my kids. The mixture dried too quickly to add color or anything. Finally, I poured the wax shavings and base into a glass bowl and stirred them over a low simmering saucepan. That was the only way it could be kept constant. Then we added scents which are not very strong, I held them on my fingers and didn't feel anything fragrant. Generally a good idea, but a better concept for the base is needed. Something that mixes easily and stays liquid for a really long time. My kids were happy to have their own lip balm but were very disappointed with the process. I also couldn't get the shimmery stuff to drip when I was mixing it, so we didn't use those either. It's just smeared over my fingers.
