Be careful when washing - baby bedding

I bought these in black, I was very satisfied when I received them, the first wash was good, no problems. Fast forward a month later following the washing instructions and I end up with a VERY faded comforter. The entire ceiling is faded, with some spots more faded than others. I haven't used bleach or anything that might lighten it and it's looking bad. I will buy another blanket definitely from another seller it was a waste of money.
