Damn perfect on floating shelves

I originally looked at the "All Spices" spice rack, but the price is quite high. It seemed like a good alternative, plus it's made entirely of wood, while the All Spice has a chipboard insert. I like that this design offers a bit more flexibility in terms of the lenses used - round or square can be used. It's nice when everything fits together, but it's also nice not having to transfer all your spices into new containers! The only downside to this is that I have a number of "purely organic" spices (in large square jars) that are just too big to fit on this shelf. They barely, barely, almost fit - another eighth to a quarter of an inch and you'll be fine! I hate not being able to use them as the lids are already neatly labeled and the spices themselves are often the cheapest option in our shop despite the fancy sounding name. (As you can see we are working on clean cap markings. :-) ) But Penzey's, McCormick, Trader Joe's and Badia are a perfect fit. For some reason I have two partially used short jars of cream of tartar - I can fit both in the same slot and it's fine. I have this on my counter and haven't used the little rubber feet if you can use them to fold it back. little - works fine. I'm about to buy a second one - once I switch over my Simply Organic stuff I'll have over 10 more cans, not enough to justify another shelf. but I can always buy more spices. :-D It would be great if it were in the version with a 40-45 can. Time will tell how durable this is - the wood is very thin in places to allow the shelves to slide into each other. But that doesn't mean the shelves support a lot of weight, so I think you'll be fine. So far very satisfied. For the price and the versatility of glasses it includes - I don't think you can beat that. Get one! Or two!

Pros
  • Floating Shelf/Floating Shelves: The cabinet simply screws directly onto the wall stud without the need for additional tools. You can also use standard hanging hardware (not included). Rated for 10 pounds. Drill holes in the back of a solid bamboo wood wall.
Cons
  • Something is wrong
