Working in the medical field I have learned many steps over the years to access patient records. Stationary steps are good, the ones that snap as you step on them are a bit unstable, and folding steps are just awful to slide (so far). This step folds out into an incredibly stable surface that even a tall person (like me) can step on and feel safe. The design allows it to stand stably on any floor; wood, carpet, tiles. And when it's done, the one-handed grip and folding shrinks to a few inches that can be slid between bookshelves, next to a fridge, or behind a door. Now I have 6 of these including one outside, one in the car and one in the garage. You're too comfortable not to be around; The perfect solution for obsessed organizers who have bins on their shelves and need to raise and lower them while feeling stable.
