This is a durable, excellent quality wallet. If it had had Dooney and Bourke's label on it, the cost would have been much higher. The quality and thickness of the pebbled leather and the construction of the wallet are as good as Dunya and Bourque. That's no exaggeration. Well sewn. The coin zipper is secure. With the exception of a check book, this is a fully featured compact wallet. There are 4 slots for credit cards. Driver's license/ID card display pocket, coin pocket, 2 inner pockets and pocket for dollars and multi-dollars. Cards slide in and out of the slots easily, and the slots are the correct height for card identification. When you open the wallet, your driver's license/ID card is immediately available. It easily holds a few dollars in coins. I really like this wallet. When you open it, everything is in view. Simply return everything when shopping. You know, instead of tossing your credit card in your wallet or pocket somewhere after you've checked out at the grocery store and then looking for it in a mild panic. I bought one that doesn't have a valve and that locks securely in place when full of cash and cards. It locked securely with all card slots full, 23 bills (I've just withdrawn cash from an ATM) and lots of coins. It is slightly larger than the index card. Colors are exactly as shown. It comes in a beautiful black box which reflects the high quality of the wallet. I bought it for myself to carry with small handbags, but I will be happy to give it as a gift. My expectations were exceeded. It is definitely worth more than the asking price. Thank you Dante I wrote this review for the color red. I've since bought brown and purple. Purple color as shown. The tan is a little darker. The quality is different. Not so good. The skin appears a bit thinner and not as soft, especially on brown. However, these are good wallets. The skin will soften over time. I still recommend.
