This duvet met my expectations. I've had a (fabulous) duvet for about 16 years, but it's finally started to lose its shape and usefulness. It cost me over $400 at the time, which was way too expensive for my retirement income! I've been looking for a new one for a month but the prices have been high. So I settled on a synthetic duvet and while it's fine for the summer, I needed something that would really keep me warm during these mountainous winters. I am very satisfied with the outer layer, the quality! And the thickness is really nice. The only thing I can't figure out is why it sounds "crisp" when I move it to get it right. Is there a layer of plastic between the springs and the material? I'm not sure. But you can't beat him for $!
