Initially I was very happy with this generic brand of ink from other manufacturers. Installation was easy and my HP Photosmart 7160 printer accepted it with no hiccups or expiration issues. The prints are surprisingly good. Exceeded my expectations for color quality. So I printed seven 8.5 x 11 photos and got a low ink warning. Of course, the light blue cartridge was almost empty, and a few other colors were pretty low. It looks like I can only (maybe) get fifteen 8.5 x 11 prints before running out of ink in one or more colors. Not good. But on the plus side, I can buy a full set of five colors plus black for less than the cost of an original manufacturer's cartridge. So yes, I will continue to use this general purpose ink for non-critical prints as it is quite economical. Note, however, that these generic cartridges appear to be quite small in capacity. I have no idea how long the printed colors will last before they start fading. I left a test print on a windowsill where the sun shines for several hours each day to conduct a non-scientific test of the image's durability.
