This is a good size for knees or shoulders but lacks thermal performance. Used a small USB battery for less than 30 minutes and couldn't tell it was ever on. It doesn't get really hot, but it can withstand 40 degrees of ambient temperature. Cools very quickly - best used under skin-hugging coats and blankets.
