Let's start by saying I have four dogs, one of which is a two year old German Hound who loves to "fight" with me because she barks a lot. To try and teach her to stop I bought this product. The first time she tried barking at me, she stopped when she heard what appeared to be an ultrasonic sound. Since then I've used this whenever she starts barking and she's stopped. In just a day if she even sees it or I wear it with a handy strap she won't bark anymore. This also applies to my other three dogs. When it rings I can use that and everyone stops barking. I am pleasantly surprised at how effective and fast the device worked to stop barking and I look forward to improving the dogs behavior!
