First I want to quickly talk about the price. If you are from the US and spend more than $59.99 including shipping; Buy it on the Myarcade website. As of today, July 31, 2021, it costs $59.99 with free shipping. It took 4 business days to receive it. Now for my quick fixes. As you notice in my two photos, the button layout is different from the original you will receive when it arrives new. I just changed the color scheme from white, blue, red to what was in the original arcade to red, white and blue. Only two screws need to be removed to remove the control panel. You don't have to open the back. Once opened, disconnect the ribbon cable, carefully unscrew about a dozen screws, and swap the button colors. Reassemble in reverse order and you now have a more authentic SF2 Champion Edition arcade console. The second thing I did with this console was a flat clear cover on the control panel after removing the circuit board and all the buttons to change the button colors. . I did this because I noticed that the control panel uses a matte black joystick sticker. Even with minimal use, I could tell this was going to be an issue in the future. Luckily I enjoy making the Gundam model and I only used a matte top coat before reassembling all the buttons and the circuit board. Otherwise this console is amazing. You can change the volume, brightness, difficulty, and even pair two of them for face-to-face play. 4/5 🌟 from me.
