This is a sturdy dryer that can be rolled up when not in use. I gave it four stars even though we needed a different stand because it works exactly how I envisioned it. We use ours quite often. However, if you cook a lot and have a lot of heavy pots and pans, then I don't think that will do. If you have wine glasses or bottles, they may not stand upright as the mat will flex a bit. If you're washing dishes, that won't work either. It's nice that it doesn't take up any space on the worktop, instead closing off access to the sink. I ended up buying a bamboo stand as well, but we use both stands quite often. If you need an extra dryer that can be easily removed, this is perfect.
