The stand is quite stable even with a 32 inch monitor mounted on it. The main disadvantage is the ability to adjust the height of the armrests. You can only adjust the height by changing the attachment position of the hand relative to the main pole (see first picture). This means that if you try to adjust them to roughly the same height, the two arms will actually interfere with each other. More importantly, the maximum height you can get the monitor to is still too low. I'm not even that tall (5ft 9) and I still can't raise the top of my 32" monitor more than 1" above my eye line when standing (see second photo to see how far you are from the table can install a monitor). Finally, cable management is very limited and cables end up getting in the way without further measures to secure them (see last image). Overall, I would not recommend this monitor and laptop mount. While it's durable, the lack of customization is too much of a downside. I intend to buy another stand with the necessary customization.
