Rope baskets are my favorites because they are so versatile. I use them for a variety of things like storage, laundry etc. I have these to store sweaters in my closet. It's quite roomy, and depending on thickness, you can fit at least a dozen sweaters. I like the smooth leather handle design compared to the strap handles. It is easy to carry and very well made of high quality cotton rope. It comes folded so when you take it out it is slightly deformed as you can see in the photos. To get him back in shape, I stuffed him with pillows and some blankets for a few days. It's amazing how big the difference is. You can still see a slight bend around the edges, but when I packed it with the sweaters you couldn't tell. If you don't like the crease, you can iron or steam it. I have done this many times using the basket in a place where everyone would see it. I really like this basket and will definitely buy more.
