I bought a Stratus Duo to replace a Stratus XL Steel Series that suddenly stopped working. 2 days with Duo and the left stick stopped working properly. I contacted Steel Series customer service only to be told that if I had purchased the controller from anything other than the official website, the warranty would not be honored. I waited a week for a response from them and 30 seconds to issue a refund/replacement from Revain. A quick search revealed that Steel Series has a major problem in the manufacturing process of their controllers. I'm definitely not the only one having stick failure issues. I have no reason to believe that the controller that replaced this one won't fail again. Unfortunately this is an amazing controller with amazing features that worked flawlessly on day one, but 2 controllers that failed the same way after a ridiculously short time isn't worth the time and money. *UPDATE* A replacement controller has arrived. and 2 days later the right stick failed. Avoid this and any Steel Series controller at all costs. This is the third Steel series controller I have had and all three have one of the joysticks failing. I will never buy a Steel Series product again.
