This works well for zucchini and yellow squash. Not suitable for cauliflower. I used a chopstick as directed and the cauliflower fell into crumbs and florets after I fried almost half of it. That's probably why OXO's YouTube video of her roasting cauliflower is only about 12 seconds long. Rice with cauliflower was everywhere. What a mess. It goes really well with zucchini and zucchini, as I mentioned above, so it's worth saving up for. It is easy to use, has good suction, is easy to clean and compact to store. There's no good way to set up a plate or bowl to catch the spiral feed, so I'm considering getting a large plastic container and putting everything in it while it spirals. Or maybe cut out plastic utensils. UPDATE: Figured out how to put a bowl underneath. I put it on one of the counters where the end isn't touching anything. There is a box in front of this counter. I placed the spiralizer on the front edge of the counter, opened the drawer and placed a large bowl in the drawer under where the spirals will come out. Worked great.
