This was the absolute best result in a year and four months. However, while showering today, I took the detachable shower head out of its holder and it immediately detached from the hose. Upon closer inspection I noticed that it had come loose right where the threads were, at the base. I had water splashes on the ceiling and wall. There was water everywhere in my bathroom. I may be embarrassed and a little humiliated to admit this now, but since COVID I've been working from home and I don't take a very good shower every day. Since I'm not seen anymore and I don't share my house with anyone but my dogs, I got a little lazy about showering and only took it twice a week, sometimes less, sometimes more. Only when I had to go somewhere did I shower more often. And I hardly left the house. At the same time, if I showered every day like I did before COVID-19, I'm sure it wouldn't even last a year. I would give more than one star as it was really great the first year. The fact that I needed serious cleaning and it could ravage water (and probably still has a place in unseen places) caused me to downgrade it to a star. Before that I gave five stars even though I didn't write a review. I suppose fate decreed that I waited so long to write it. This showerhead wasn't used as often as the average person and only lasted over a year before the showerhead's design failed. Unacceptable. The metal must have been so thin at the thread that it just snapped. I was going to order another one but now that this has happened I will be looking for another brand.
