Review on SNEINO Sprained Basketball Volleyball Stabilizer: Enhancing Support and Stability by John Miranda

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great braces but they are a bit big for some people.

Love this shackle. It's incredibly comfortable. I was happy that even with a thick wool sock it fits in my mid-height running shoes. I wondered what it would be like to have two thin straps under my foot; but that's no problem at all. After 14 weeks of severe ankle sprain and completing physical therapy, this brace allowed me to return to outdoor sports - hiking, trail running, climbing, biking - with a great feeling of support and ensuring my ankle was not pinched. An added benefit: with tight lacing, the compression reduces swelling that lingers on the ankle. After 2-3 hours of continuous intense activity, my ankle is less swollen than when I started. However. I had to return the first braces I bought (the large one) because they were too wide. When I tightened the laces, the sides (with eyelets for the laces) came together in the middle and wouldn't tighten. For men's shoes in size 11.5 6' 1/195 lbs, I wear almost everything I wear in a "large" size. So after reading a few reviews about the sizing I ordered exactly that. But apparently my ankles are relatively thin. I returned the large medium braces which fit great. As can be seen in the picture, the two mounting brackets do not reach the top of the bracket, but that doesn't seem to matter. ) the cross strap may catch on your wrist or get scratched on the stones and come off. But it's easy to attach with a strip of sports tape to keep it in place. My recommendation is to fit the brace based on the diameter of your ankle, not your shoe size or height. If you don't have fat ankles, please make a little mistake with the size when ordering. To their credit, the seller seems aware that oversizing can be an issue; They recommend going down a size for more compression.

  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
