
This is a worthy alternative to expensive solar cable extension kits. You'll need to check the length, voltage, and amp parameters, but this is an acceptable option if all of these variables are within your project's specifications. I use this cable for "camp" startups and for remote ham radio installations where solar arrays have a panel rating of 200 watts or well below. Attaching MC4 connectors to the cable is usually another hurdle, but Revain sells kits that include "built-in" MC4 fuse links.
