Probably every avid seamstress dreams of the perfect pair of scissors and these have been my Premax for about 20 years. embroidery scissors. Most scissors just chew through the yarn, but you can hope for something in between. These scissors work great in that regard and the grip holes are larger and more comfortable. Plus, the one with the Art Nouveau fleur-de-lis design brings a big dose of "oooh.” This one comes in at least four finishes on its own if you prefer it on its own. I haven't pulled my strings to try it, but I suspect it will work for her as well.
