Review on ⏳ Timeless Charm: Vintage Equivalent Dimmable Filament Decorate by Trevor Blazis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great lamp at a great price, maybe underrated.

Was looking for a bulb that would look good with aesthetics to light up the porch around our house. I'm slowly moving towards LEDs and when the bulbs burn out I swap them out in sets. In this case, one of the three porch lights went out, so I replaced all three bulbs with it. I think the value for money of these rather understated lamps deserves a commendation from me. I had some very specific needs as I buy LED bulbs with some experience as I have quite a few of them around the block now. So I start specifically by considering the color temperature, then the lumens, which need to be adjusted regardless of the circuit type, and finally I choose the combination of these three factors in the style of the lamp itself, and finally the value for money mix as a final consideration. . I pay more if I really see an attractive benefit-cost ratio. Since they were being installed outdoors, with highly visible lights on the sides of our house, I wanted a lightbulb that was better than the regular shape and it matched this look. Firstly, they are honestly brighter than I believe they are rated at 60W. equivalent. This is somewhat typical of LED bulbs when compared directly to their incandescent comparisons, but nonetheless they pack a significant punch compared to what was out there (regular 60w clear bulbs). I can safely say that the radius of light around the porch is much larger and the overall light output through the walls these lights are mounted on the house is much, much brighter and wider than ever. I dare say that in terms of light output they are almost on par with a 100w incandescent bulb which I am very happy with as they are outside and more light is better for my use case. The lamps are pretty accurate when it comes to color temperature, maybe a hair's breadth over 2700K. Of course I don't have a scientific method to measure this other than I've looked at a few dozen brands/types and therefore bulb temperature ratings and I usually equate a 2700K LED bulb with one thing that a real Inca am next comes with the same equivalent wattage. . It's just the hair whiter and that's ok because I really prefer 3000k, but finding this style of lamp in a 3000k dimmable budget multipack set was a challenge so I went with them. I'm happy to have made it this far. They dim smoothly on Z-Wave dimmers. I have a pretty solid home automation system and all my outdoor lighting is hooked up to Z-Wave electronic dimmers. These include Aeotec Z-Wave Mini Dimmers and GE Z-Wave Plus Dimmers. The dimming curve and color temperature throughout the dimming cycle are smooth and flicker-free, and I didn't hear any noise from the bulbs at any brightness level. I thought I'd mention the noise specifically because I keep seeing it mentioned in various LED reviews (not necessarily this one), but some people find it important. The lamps also look well made. The base-to-glass connection is solid with no play or wobble, and yes, I've received an incredible number of bulbs that "have" this characteristic. That's not the case with these, and the glass itself is surprisingly thicker than I expected. So when you hold the light bulb in your hand, you feel like you've got something of high quality and light weight. 'Outside Lights' in their description was another very difficult feature to find as I spent a few hours researching, reading and finally found these bulbs. In general I had 3 of the 4 bulbs. in use for about 3 weeks (purchased on January 11th) and they were flawless.I've tested #4 to make sure it works but unfortunately I haven't found a place to use it yet so it's sitting with my spares waiting for that it will shine one day time will tell as is usually the case with most of these things how they will hold up and while I don't expect anything to last forever they are in sealed outer casings protected from the weather are protected so I suspect you have The next best work environment is probably not just for indoor use I feel like I made the right choice and a quality received a product that I expect will lead a decent life.
