Bought for fun. like a cable that shines. The cable lights up when the USB-A port is connected. However, when the Lightning connection is connected to the iPhone, the cable will not work. When connected to the Apple power adapter, the iPhone pings constantly and does not charge. When I connect the cable from the computer to the iPhone, the computer repeatedly opens iTunes, then closes iTunes and then launches iTunes again. The phone switches from charging to discharging every few seconds. I turned it off fearing it might do harm. It was only $13 then. Don't bother returning this item. but let other people know my experience wasn't good. By the way, the appearance of the cable was good. looks well made. however, this does not work.
