After assembling this set I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I've helped others set up a variety of lights and backgrounds, from amateurs to professionals, so I've seen both cheap and very expensive sets. This set is very durable for the price! I was actually expecting it to be thin (for the price) but it isn't. I've seen reviews that say stands are cheap, but they're all designed to be lightweight and portable. So don't expect any "heavy" stuff - even pro setups are easy. I paid more for this set than others for several reasons. The light in this set is brighter and the softbox LEDs are color temperature adjustable and dimmable. Also, softboxes are bigger. When comparing sets pay attention to the types of bulbs, lumens and watts. This kit is worth its price. Since I have two kids in high school and we had to take our own high school photos, this kit saved me a ton of money. I highly recommend it!
