Edit: I had to go back and give this 1 star. I'm not sure what's wrong with these combs, but they pull on my hair and give me more knotting than untying. I have curly hair that isn't very thick - I think if my hair was thick this comb wouldn't even get through. It doesn't feel like he's actually combing my hair. It gives me really bad curls when it dries. I have another great hairbrush and wanted to add another one, loved this one but oh well. I think they will go in the bin which makes me sad because $5 is $5! It's pretty unreliable, and that might be the problem. I think sometimes it's better to buy things in store. Another change: I managed to get a refund for this item. ----------- ---------------------------------------------------- - ---------- --------------------------------------- -- --------------------------------------- I received these combs earlier than expected so what should be a plus. A major downside (for me) was that the larger of the two had somewhat sharp teeth. I always keep this in mind when I buy new combs as I don't want to scratch my scalp. Of course they were there! I had no intention of sending them back and it wasn't too bad either, so I just took the nail file I was going to throw away and filed it a bit. Worked! However, I'm giving this 3 stars because of necessity. Strangely the smaller one didn't have this problem so maybe it was just a couple? All in all, I'm glad I have them. Love the feel and love the curve at the top. I would only advise the company to be careful with the extra plastic on the ends!
