I ran a 48 hour test on this unit in a one story house in Florida and got a score of 4.1. Since I doubted the accuracy of this result, I ran a second 48-hour test in parallel with the passive activated carbon test to compare the readings. The device again showed 4.1, while the laboratory test results returned to 0.7. I was pretty sure this unit was junk so I reinstalled it and left it on a shaded outdoor porch for 48 hours, a place where radon levels would definitely be lower than indoors. The device read 4.3 after 48 hours. It is impossible. Don't buy this and don't trust any readings.
