I bought two pairs of these shoes for my 15 month old granddaughter. She was too cold to walk barefoot and I didn't want her to be in sneakers all day just walking around the house. And she keeps sliding across the floor in her socks. These little "slippers" are the perfect solution. They have a durable yet flexible outsole and a soft, unstructured upper that their little feet can slide into. They are easy to put on and take off, whether barefoot or with socks. They have a velcro closure. There isn't much length at the clasp to adjust the fit to make it tighter or looser, which is actually fine because the fit is great. She's got chunky little legs! Lol Even after wearing them for hours their feet don't stink when I take my shoes off! They are comfortable enough for my granddaughter to wear all day and the sole is durable enough for walking outside. The upper is made of fabric that allows your feet to breathe and not sweat. I will wash them. I will add the success or failure of this procedure to my rating when I wash them. In general, my granddaughter and I are delighted with these slippers! I know she likes them because she brings them to me to help her dress. That in itself is high praise from a child! They are inexpensive and durable, well made and comfortable, and I will definitely be buying more in the future.
