DO NOT PUT ON! I saw a nightmarish video of someone installing this particular kit and they shattered this big beautiful piece of glass. It just needs to be strong enough to stay in place and create a seal. Once you feel it tighten - STOP. TIP: Use a wrench instead of a ratchet to avoid excessive torque. Fits quite well, seems more reliable than the OEM rubber plug. I added a washer between the nut and the floor to keep everything straight. I wish the o-ring channel was machined a little deeper so that the lid fits snugly against the jar and the o-ring stays in place. on site during installation. Haven't tested the seal yet but if it starts leaking I'll update this review.
