Not good for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8 inch

I bought this for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8 inch. The tablet is difficult to fit. First, it only fits vertically where the rubber grips are at the top and bottom of the tablet. It doesn't close tight enough to hold an 8-inch tablet flat. Why this is a problem: In order to turn the tablet horizontally (e.g. to watch a movie), you need to rotate the mount. That means the rubber grips are on the sides rather than the top and bottom. In an inflatable car, the tablet can slip and fall as there is no support underneath. Also, the earbuds and charger are on the top and bottom of the tablet, so pens can occasionally get in the way. Second, when I say it barely fits the 8-inch Galaxy Tab, I mean it barely fits. The mount has to be fully seated and I had to force the tablet in, damaging the rubber grips. If you have a tablet case, forget it. You have to take it out of its case to put it in this thing. Finally he thunders. If you don't mind driving 8 hours on the freeway with this thing next to your head, then ignore it. I used padding tape between the rattling parts, which helped, but it will rattle out of the box. Pros: I would like to point out that 8 inch tablets are not the norm. However, the product description says "universal". . This review is for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch only, and this thing might work well with other tablet sizes (10.1 and 7-inch are the norm). The unit is pretty solid and I had no trouble installing it. That. I would probably rate it better if I had a different sized tablet.
