Terrible experience due to defects, damage and the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Once upon a time. To all concerned, this is my very first review. And now for the story. After waiting two weeks for the bedside table, I opened the box only to find the first piece damaged (pictured). The items were not packaged as well as they could have been to prevent this from happening. One of the screws (shown in the photo) was broken and missing threads. So I contacted customer service first. After emailing and resending the next day, I received a response within about 48 hours. It had exactly what I needed (part numbers and nomenclature with clear photos). They replied that they would send the part and apologized for the inconvenience. Note that I only mentioned part of it. Yes they seem to have ignored half of my request and the part they sent wasn't even what I requested. So I sent another email explaining what I needed and all they said was they would give me a tracking number once the item shipped. After weeks of waiting I received the wrong part as expected. Email after sending and receiving emails (nearly twenty) and each reply began and ended with a pre-typed "sorry for the inconvenience" and was completely wrong in what I actually said. It was as if the person chose to only read part of the email or to ignore it entirely and answer the problem they were trying to solve, a problem which, as mentioned, I didn't even mention. My guess is that the support staff doesn't speak English or just sucks. I finally received one of the correct parts after waiting over a month for the original request, but unfortunately it was also damaged, albeit relatively slightly (see photo). It still pissed me off after all the wasted time and frustration. Assembling it was fairly easy, or so it seemed, but aligning everything with only two hands proved to be quite difficult. There was a lot of tightening, loosening, and readjusting required to get everything right, or at least as accurate as possible for imprecisely manufactured parts. They were obviously not interested in details. To end on a good note, the two positive comments I can make are that it proves to be quite durable and looks good as long as you aren't as obsessive as I am about perfect alignment. to order one and it arrives without defects, you just have to deal with a tedious assembly to be endured when everything is in order and the after-sales service should not intervene. End.
