Overall I really like the perch chair. When I bought it my son was just over 6 months old and not ready to sit in the high chairs that restaurants usually provide. What drew me to it was the 5 point harness and other reviews I read said it could work on a variety of tables (e.g. tables with a ledge on the edge). Although we've only used this in a few restaurants, I haven't found a table that doesn't work. After watching the video, it is very easy to put on and take off the table. My only downsides are that even with the seat attached to the table, the seat itself is kind of skewed. I think if my son was a bit older/taller he would recline fully into the seat, it wouldn't be as noticeable. Another disadvantage of a table chair is that while this seat can be properly attached to a table, not every table is strong enough for this. I mean, my son's legs are constantly moving, so when he sits on the seat that's attached to the table, he ends up shaking the whole table. I'm glad I bought a chair for the table, but we don't take it to restaurants anymore. He will go on vacations with us and visit other family members and the like.
