Review on 🐾 Four Seasons Crafting: Explore Animal Arts & Crafts through Sewing Adventures by Jim Fuhrer

I am an adult sewer. I bought a very basic sewing kit from the department store, which my six-year-old daughter was happy to sew with me. I thought this sewing kit would also be very easy, but it turned out to be a bit more complicated. We started with a bird. I had some trouble aligning the wing pieces and got a little frustrated. I think my kid noticed that and I had to put myself and my frustration to the test. In the end I'm not sure if we sewed the bird exactly according to the instructions, but it turned out quite well and looked pretty. I think adults who grew up sewing or have sewing experience will find it an easy craft and those of us who had or have no sewing experience might be disappointed, but if you go with the flow and don't let the frustration bring out the best in you, this can be a fun craft to share with your kid. In the end we really enjoyed our time together and the end product (although it wasn't perfect). Everything is clearly laid out with instructions for each animal and each animal comes in its own plastic bag. It also comes with a cute reusable bag to put anything you haven't been doing for easy storage (very important to our family). This is a high quality set and I would love to do the rest of the animals with my child.
