ENCOM Adjustable Dad Baseball Cap, perfectly sized for running and outdoor activities I was really excited about the simple black fabric baseball cap. I like to wear a hat so the sun doesn't blind my eyes and my hair doesn't fall in my face (or when I need to wash my hair but I'm not ready yet), and almost all hats that I have have some kind of logo or words. I thought a very simple hat would be a very useful item. This is a great hat - easy to adjust with a sliding strap at the back, no velcro in sight. It's a heavier fabric, like cotton, that holds its shape very well, but is also very soft (maybe combed twill?) and has a very edgy look. I have a hat - so much so that the proportions work when I wear it. Our 19 year old son happily made it his own - the brim doesn't look so disproportionate on him with his larger head and face. Also, he often wears his hats backwards, and when he does, you don't give a damn that they're long. So, takeaway: this is a great hat, but be aware the brim is longer than usual!
