I have owned half a dozen ozone machines and this is by far the most efficient ozone machine I have ever bought. It has 3 ozone plates to generate a very powerful amount of ozone. All the ones I've had in the past have been weak. I have always used ozone to keep my yacht fresh and mold free. I used ozone to get rid of the smoke smell from a smoking tenant in one of my apartments. I used ozone to eliminate mold in a rented home where the water heater was out because ozone kills and prevents mold from growing. Ozone is also used to treat medical equipment, tubing, and CPAP machines due to its effectiveness in preventing bacterial growth. It is a tool to effectively eliminate odor and prevent fungus from growing. It is not designed for everyday use with a dust filter. You can get these filter machines anywhere, a fan and filter is all they do, and maybe some charcoal too. This is an oxidizing machine designed to penetrate deep and penetrate the root of the odor, destroying its molecules. I am very impressed with this device and its 5 year warranty! Other devices I have used only have an ozone plate. Take it seriously, this block produces a very high amount of O3, so absolutely do not occupy this area, neither humans nor pets, and I would even remove my plants, but that's me. After that, after a good saturation of the room with oxygen, carefully ventilate the room. I will definitely use it on my boat as well and add a daily timer to it as suggested in the boat guide. I run it for about an hour once a week when the boat is in port between visits to prevent mold and have a nice clean fresh interior when I come back. I've spent $600 on a device before it wasn't nearly as good as this one. This device is designed to get the job done and is only for those who understand the ins and outs of ozone. Ozone gets a bad rap from uninformed consumers who think it's just an air filter air freshener. Ozone can attack you as if you were using cleaning chemicals, not wearing protective gear, or being in a well-ventilated area. You need to be thoughtful about this matter. It is an odor elimination tool and a treatment maintenance tool. If you can't figure out how to use ozone devices properly, just get an air masking spray or candle. But if you want to kill the source of the smell once and for all, this is the beast that will destroy the smell, fungus, mold and spores and end it all. After doing this treatment, ventilate the room to regularly let in fresh O2 air and that cleansing O3 smell will dissipate and you will neutralize your problem. Anyone renting a property should have one on hand. If you have a home on the beach or in a very humid climate, this is a great device to spray your home regularly to prevent mold and mildew growth. I'm glad I found this quality product so I stop wasting money on low power products.
